Never, I repeat Never get under a car unless it is properly supported . If you have nothing else even use the spare tyre. It only has to come down once to crush you. Leaving the door open should stop it from auto leveling.

Don't want to scare you but it could be a bit more serious . Common fault. The metal in the Hydraulic cylinder is soft & wears . As it wears you loose pressure to the clutch plates . Particularly the ones in the torque converter . Clutch material then goes through the cylinder & creates more...
