Hi,
I am re-conditioning and installing a Lucas Hotwire EFI. The wire which runs from the coil to the 40-pin plug split into two about 5 cm from the coil. Both are the same (correct) colour and both have identical resistors in place. I haven't seen this mentioned in any forums or documents so I guess it was installed by the previous owner. SHould I connect both to the 40-pin plug or connect one and keep the other in place as a back-up? Is the duplicate there in case the resistor fails? Any thoughts?

Thanks
Mike

Unless I am mistaken per the RAVE page 9 of the electrical manual one goes to a fuse the other to the ECM
