I have a 2004 Range Rover HSE with a bad motor, is it worth keeping or should I sell it off

This really depends on how well you like your Range Rover and how much you want to spend on it. If you can get a replacement engine cheap enough or have yours rebuilt, then I would keep it it would have to be cheaper than buying a new vehicle.

It will be about 6-7,000 to get a motor amnd have it installed

To me that is a lot cheaper than a new vehicle and the '04 is a very nice looking Rover. So really it is up to you. Selling it with a bad or no engine you will almost have to give it away.
