I need to replace my tires for my Range Rover Sport HSE (2011) (19"). I live in So.Cal and most of my driving is pretty tame and on-road. Occasionally we drive into the mountains and deserts -- so I'm looking for tires that I can have confidence in in all driving conditions - heat, rain and snow.

I contacted Discount Tire and they're recommending the Yokohama YK 580. My dealer recommended Continental 4x4 contacts.

I'm pretty clueless. Any recommendations?

If you are going to research about the Continental 4x4 contacts, you will see that most reviews are not so good.

good tires

Goodyear Eagle RS-A: quiet, very good in rain and dry, decent in snow (not deep snow), long lasting and readily available. Try tirerack.com

I've been very pleased with my Michelin Latitudes Tour HP's.
Quiet, comfortable , and they handle well in rain. I have no snow experience with them though, only ice in which they did just fine.
