Recently traded my LR3 in and have some stuff to get rid of.

PM Me for pics, until I figure out how to put them on here.

Sold- Genuine Expedition Roof Rack. ($700, local pick up preferred)
-good condition. Has everything but the tie down eyelets for the upper rack.
-passenger side attachment bracket is fused to the rack because the nut plate weld broke. It doesn't effect the use of the rack, one will want to fix it before reinstalling it.

Sold- GN Vehicle Protection Expedition Lader ($150 plus shipping)
-super easy to install
-looks great and a perfect companion to the roof rack.

Genuine LR all weather mats for all 3 rows.
-driver's side show mild-moderate wear (heal rest), all other nearly new.

18" 5 spoke wheel with tire. ($100 plus shipping)
-had it as a full size spare, but never used it. Has an almost new Hancook dynasty tire on it.

Genuine Trailer Tow Electrics ($100 + shipping)

Thanks for giving us 1st crack at it...I really want the rack, but 11 hours drive from me is too far to justify. Isnt that a c130 in your pic -- Couldnt you just cargo-drop it over my house???

What did you trade into, anything fun?

Lol. One of two things wouldn't survive the drop...my career or the rack ;)

I traded it for an RRS S/C. So far I still miss my LR3

So we have an LR3 in the family already. I'm tempted to add a RRS S/C as a change from my Audi. I know even the SC isn't going to compete with the racers but is it enough spirit add to be a better choice than the regular RRS ?

Just curious....

It's fun to drive and pretty spirited for a near 6K lb vehicle.

It's not really the best of both worlds, bc I wouldn't take this offroad, even though I could.

It's the right blend though of style, form and utility...for me...for now ;)

Thanks, I wasn't planning to off road unless I hit the curb as that's what the LR3 is for. Just wondered if you (or anybody else) had comparisons of the RRS regular vs SC and whether you considered it was "worth" the upgrade price ?

It was for me. I wanted something different. I already had an LR3, the 4.4l RRS is an LR3 with a different body and less cargo room. The S/C RRS is a fun bit to drive.
