Hmm hard to say, but my guess it could be a worn air pump.

Air pump or bad air bag that cause an air pump issue. With the mileage listed I would say replace both just to be safe.
I replaced my front struts, both last week. Had an issue with the rt side, but just replaced both.
2008 HSE with 122k miles.
625$ each air strut from atlantic british (Delphi) and then 400 to install both... seems like a good deal compared to the dealership.
