I have a 2000 Range Rover that is having chronic overheating issues.
Thru testing we found the head gasket was bad. I've just replaced gaskets and was running up the motor for almost an hour when it started to over heat again. I had previously replaced every component in the cooling system with exception of the heater core.
I am looking suggestions or advice of similar problem.

Did you bleed all the air out of the cooling system? This can take several heat cycles and sadly is huge pain on the 4.0/4.6 RR.
